ACCOMMODATION
This one story surf-house has 8 rooms available, nestled around and above a movie-scene-worthy courtyard, better known as a riyad. We offer dorm-style shared rooms with a shared bathroom, and private rooms with a private bathroom and patio.
The surf-house is located in a calm, quaint area of Imsouane, while still being a short walk to Imsouane’s two infamous surfing beaches. Imsouane is home to two absolutely legendary surf spots, and let us tell you—these beaches are straight up paradise for anyone who loves a good wave and a good time. The best part? These two spots are right next to each other. So whether you’re all about those cruisy, dreamy waves in The Bay or you’re after the adrenaline rush at Cathedral Point, Imsouane’s got you covered.

On a typically sunny day in January 2024, Joris, one of Progress Outdoor Surf Hostel’s owners ran into a Imsouane local while staying in the picturesque town himself. After a warm chat the local decided to show him his guesthouse, located only a ten minute walk from one of the worlds most famous surfing beaches. Together they have decided to combine forces which has led to the opening of Progress’ first Morocco destination: Progress Imsouane!

Moroccan food is next-level, and you’ll fall in love with it! From rich tagines to fluffy couscous, every meal is an adventure in bold flavors and fresh ingredients. At our surf house, enjoy daily breakfasts and five dinners each week—perfect after a day in the waves! Some nights, we serve up traditional Moroccan dishes, and other nights, simple favorites like pasta to keep you fueled.
Vegetarian or vegan? We’ve got you covered. Plus, we leave a couple of evenings open for you to explore the village and taste the freshest Moroccan seafood. Get ready for good food and even better company!

You choose your stay! Prices for our full package start at €299 in the shared 7 bed dorm room. In need of more privacy? You can upgrade your room type to a smaller shared or private room. All of our ground floor rooms are located around a beautiful indoor courtyard. Our private rooms are located on the first floor, and have a private patio.

The Bay / La Baie
The Bay offers long, mellow rides—one of Africa’s longest waves, lasting over two minutes! It’s ideal for beginners, while experienced surfers can perfect their flow on this forgiving wave. Surrounded by cliffs and golden sunsets, it’s a spot for good vibes and epic sunset sessions.
Cathedral
For a challenge, head to Cathedral Point. This powerful point break delivers fast, hollow waves perfect for advanced surfers pushing their limits. With dramatic cliffs and raw coastal beauty, it’s a thrilling spot for intermediate surfers on smaller days too.
